Cox Communications is Hiring a Creative Services Specialist, The Brand Studio Near Atlanta, GA

The Brand Studio is a fast growing and dynamic internal advertising and communications agency within Cox Communications. As we approach 45 people, we are seeking a Creative Services Specialist to help support the team and our growth in a variety of ways. The job primarily supports the Production Department, but will interface with all teams, including Creative, Account Management and Project Management.

This individual must be an organized muti-tasker with some knowledge of the print and video production processes with a willingness to flex and learn all types of production disciplines. Project management skills are a plus. They have an ability to problem solve and think on their feet, be collaborative and work independently. They are outgoing, personable, and friendly but know how to hold themselves and others accountable when necessary. No job is too big or too trivial to tackle with enthusiasm. They need to appreciate the creative nature of our work and our team, and they should give inspiration and encouragement, not drain it. A passion for communications, advertising, design, experiences, culture, retail, and the arts is desired.

What You'll Do

  • Internal and external video production support - scheduling/logistics coordination, product procurement, rentals.
  • Internal and external print production support - liaison between Project Management, Production Studio and external print partners to obtain samples, production timing, distribution lists, communicate updates and tracking to proper channels. Maintain ongoing production spreadsheet. Lead weekly production status meeting with external print partner.
  • Manage TBS artistic material accounts, license royalty-free images, footage and music, negotiate and license rights-managed images & footage. Update and monitor usage and expiration dates.
  • Coordinate production and installation for yearly corporate campaign.
  • Manage post-photography shoot production - obtain authored images from photographers, organize images on our internal server, manage external retouching process, rename files, prepare submission forms for asset management system.
  • Co-manage with Producer voiceover production with outside vendor partner. Obtain auditions, book talent/sessions, estimates, pre-approve billing.
  • Maintain / update graphics in our Retail Mock Store.
  • Support our quarterly all-hands meetings and others as required.

  • Be a part of the broader team. Engage with others. Help lead and guide.

Who You Are

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree Marketing, Communications or related discipline and 2 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years of experience or 6 years of experience in a related field with no degree
  • Working knowledge of print and video production
  • Proven work history, experience and recognition
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail

  • Good people skills and a sense of humor
  • Solid time-management skills

Preferred

  • Degree in related discipline strongly desired
  • 2 years' experience in an accredited advertising agency or in-house agency
