The Warehouse Operator I position will work safely to move products throughout the warehouse where the individual is located. The person in this position will understand the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail resulting in error-free work, will demonstrate the ability to process information with high levels of accuracy, utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking own and others' outputs. This position will accurately gauge the impact and cost of errors, omissions and oversights and learn from mistakes and apply lessons learned.
Job and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), conducting pre-operational equipment checks, and reporting any safety hazards or incidents.
• Ensure products are handled and stored to preserve their quality and prevent damage.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams to coordinate the movement of materials and meet operational goals.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments.
Utilizes light warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks and carts.Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years' experience in a related field.
Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of related work experience preferred (e.g. warehouse operations)
• Aptitude to learn how to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, stretch wrap machine, etc.).
• Ability to operate a standard truck/vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification preferred.
Familiar with basic warehouse software/systems preferred (ORACLE, CHAT Pallet Builder, etc.).Working Environment
Variable, consisting of both the office environment and the manufacturing floor. Potential hazards include proximity of moving machinery. The position may require an individual to stand, stoop, move equipment; bend, reach, or lift for prolonged periods of time. PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection and sanitary footwear.
USD 15.87 - 23.75 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $15.87 - $23.75/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
