Are you an experienced CNC Screw Machinist looking for a new challenge in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Look no further! CoWorx is hiring for one of our top clients in manufacturing in Cheshire, CT.
Job Overview:
We're hiring for an overnight CNC Screw Machinist to set up and run CNC screw machines, making sure they match specs. You'll read blueprints and use tools like calipers to check part accuracy. Monitoring machines, inspecting parts, and working with the team to improve processes are key tasks. You'll also do machine maintenance, follow safety rules, and keep your work area clean.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Screw Machinist
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is desirable
- Ability to operate power tools and other equipment related to machining operation
- Experience with STAR, Tsugami, and Citizen Machines
- Able to run multiple machines at once
