CowManager is preparing to launch the CowManager Sort Gate in the US market in 2024. We will revolutionize the sort gate market with the patented technology and create great benefits for existing and new CowManager customers.

The Job

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to manage the current product customer, potential new product customers, and to prepare for market introduction of the Sort Gate. You will be:

• Key contact person for Sort gate activities
• Represent Supply Management locally
• Provide input for product enhancements to the team in the USA and CowManager HQ in The Netherlands
• Set up and maintain distribution, installation, and support plan together with (local) partners and CowManager technical support teams
• Initiate and manage the Installation, Quality Control and Service partners for the US market.
• Organize training sessions empowering sortgate users and partners together with CM support team
• Create a preventive maintenance plan
• Embrace flexibility and adaptability by willingly taking on additional responsibilities as needed to contribute to the success of the team and organization

The Skills

• Ideal candidates for this career should have a strong agricultural background
• Experience in technical product introductions
• Commercial and Sourcing background
• Being a self-starter and taking ownership of your responsibilities
• Willing to travel approximately 50% of your time
• Passionate about the dairy industry and technology
• Willing to help out with installations and maintenance
• A Mechanical attitude, hands-on is important
• Understanding of welding and fabrication
• A Background in automation and understanding Cow flow, cow monitoring and interest in efficient ways of working of daily operations at farms is a plus.
