JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Receivable. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles, A/R billing processes and language, and be proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience in Great Plains accounting software a plus.
The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. The applicant must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, as he or she will frequently interact with customers and higher levels of management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct account research and analysis
- Verify/audit invoice accuracy
- Identify and execute necessary process adjustments
- Prepare statements for outstanding customers
- Research and set up new customer accounts
- Reconcile receivables to the general ledger
- Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
