Cow Hollow School in the Presidio is Hiring Support Teachers ASAP!

Join our dynamic team in our newly renovated, beautiful new school in the Presidio! We have 8 large light-filled classrooms, an acre of enclosed outdoor space land, a parent and teacher training institute, beautiful meeting areas and a dream team. These positions are perfect for those just starting in the field or those eager to learn from master teachers in a beautiful setting.

We are seeking the following to begin between AS SOON AS POSSIBLE:

• 2 Support Teachers for 40 hours per week (8 hours per day) to work in classrooms alongside 2 co-teachers in a class of 16-18 children, 2, 3, or 4 years old and support before and after school programs as well as substitute when teachers are away on leave.
• Support Teachers should have a minimum of 12 ECE units. Teachers with a minimum of 6 ECE units and more in progress will also be appropriate.

We are looking for teachers whose approach to teaching comes directly from an absolute love and respect for children and childhood, as well as culturally sensitive, emergent, and reflective practices. Our program for children 2-5 years old offers unique opportunities to work closely with families and brilliant educators within a low student to teacher ratio, in a beautiful natural setting . . . a fabulous place to work, learn, and play.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Dedication to working with children and families required
Love of learning and teaching in/with nature required
Knowledge of and experience with reflective practice, the Reggio Emilia early childhood movement, documentation of process, and inquiry/emergent based learning desired but not required.

CHS offers a competitive salary based on years of experience in the field and level of education.

Hourly rate of pay range is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Benefits include competitive health/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) plan, retention bonus and professional development, and 6 weeks Vacation PTO per year
