Job Posting: Grants Management Specialist

Job Description

The Cow Creek Band of The Umpqua Tribe of Indians is currently seeking a Grants Management Specialist. This Full-Time position is based in our office and is not a remote job. As a Grants Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the grants awarded to our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of grant application process, including researching funding opportunities, preparing proposals, and submitting applications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders, ensuring compliance with grant requirements
  • Monitor grant budgets and spending, tracking expenses and reporting on grant performance
  • Work closely with program staff to ensure grant objectives are met and program outcomes are achieved
  • Prepare and submit grant reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to funders
  • Stay informed about relevant grant regulations and requirements, and ensure compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or Business Administration
  • 2 years of experience in grants management or a related field
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to write compelling grant proposals and reports
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple grants simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and grant management software
