Director of Training and Operations Quality Control

Position overview:
We are looking for an experienced trainer in the safety and security space to oversee and develop our internal and external armed and unarmed training as well as work with maintaining quality control in our managed sites. Qualified applicants will have real-world experience in training armed and unarmed personnel as well as operational experience in the safety and security industry. We emphasize de-escalation as a first act and are looking for like-minded people that know that your mouth is your most effective weapon.
Additional duties:
Experience
Prior experience in law enforcement, military or security training large groups.
Ability to train in multiple disciplines including de-escalation, workplace violence and firearms training.
Have or could attain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Armed Security Training Card
The qualified candidate will have had at least 3 years of supervisory work in the security field with at least 10 direct reports and training background conducting security related curriculum
Applicants must be able to have a valid AZ DPS guard license and a clean driving record.
Military/Veteran and Law Enforcement Experience is a plus for any position at Covey Security and is heavily favored for this position.
