ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Under general supervision perform in-process inspections, following the in-process work instructions, procedures, and approved samples.
• Perform in-process inspections on all products in Double Needle Dept and final inspections on all finished products.
• Verification of the assembly and workmanship of the products to the specifications.
• Detect nonconforming products.
• Record inspections on form QA-IP and final inspections data on QA/Account Server/Product Audit.
• Release inspected product to next stage.
• Any other functions deemed necessary by the supervisor.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ability to use basic measuring instruments (tape measure).
• Basic computer skills (on/off PC, typing)
• Basic math skills (additions, subtractions, decimals, fractions).
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction.
• Ability to interface with all levels.
• Good communication skills.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:

1 to 3 months experience and/or on the job training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 20/20 vision or correction to 20/20.

Must be able to perceive colors and shades of colors.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds unassisted.

Must be able to stand, walk or sit for entire shift.

Must be able to work in moderate noise levels.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Must be able to bend, reach, twist, stoop, squat and grasp with hands.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or GED and/or work experience.
