Job Summary You will work with travelers and our agent partners to provide accurate, timely, and courteous responses to inquiries regarding Travelex protection plans. Enroll travelers into plans appropriate to the needs of their travel plans. Please note: You will be required to be in the office 5 days a week through the 90-day probationary period. After this time, you will adopt our hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office, 1 day remote. Our schedule will require some flexibility to work an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday 8 am – 7 pm CST. Starting hourly rate for this role is $19.00 per hour. Upon successful completion of first phase of training hourly rate will increase to $19.50 per hour and following probationary period, the hourly rate will adjust to $21.00 per hour. A little bit about the job: You will –
Create and modify travel insurance enrollments for Travel agents or direct traveler, received by phone or email, following established business procedures,
Provide accurate explanations of plan benefits and exclusions which accurately reflect customer’s unique travel circumstance,
Work with customers or travel agents to add appropriate product upgrades,
Review policy enrollment history to clarify solution options,
Read and interpret the policy language applicable to the situation. Be able to explain policy language in terms understandable to customer,
Navigate various technical resources to determine procedures and inquiry responses,
Communicate in a manner which promotes the sale, retention, or increase to a policy, and future patronage,
De-escalate situations within your scope,
Determine when to provide a solution personally or transfer the situation to those trained to process.
A little bit about you: You will have –
Insurance and Travel background knowledge is preferred.
Minimum two-year customer service experience is required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Willingness to read policy documentation to find applicable policy information
