Summary:
The Network Admin II’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information System. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating System. The Network Admin II will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT System investments.
The Network Admin II demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and action are at all time consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation.
Responsibilities:
Architect Responsibilities
· Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and System goals for new projects
· Work with vendors to determine design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating System.
· Conduct research on software and System products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
· Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.
Operations Responsibilities
· Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing System; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these System.
· Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
· Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, and other applications.
· Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, processes, and service records.
· Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new System.
· Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.

Education/Experience Requirements
Associates degree (required), Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or commensurate experience. Certification required and/or be willing to pursue industry certification (multiple preferred). Example include: Microsoft (MCSE, MCSA); Cisco UCS/Networking (CCNA, CCNP); VMWare (VCP, VCAP); Citrix (CCA, CCP); Red Hat (RHCSA, RHCE); Epic (CSM, ODBA).

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
