Covenant Health is Hiring an ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN Near Bangor, ME

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of the Hospital, including dry/wet mopping, replacing curtains/drapes, cleaning of patient room and offices, and collection of regular and/or Medical waste.

Education: Less than High School Education

Experience: 2 years as a Housekeeper/Cleaner in a Healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.

Special skills:

Ability to differentiate colors, able to mix chemicals properly following manufactures recommendations, able to wear a Respiratory fit mask when cleaning isolation rooms.
