Position Summary:
The ED Tech coordinates communications on the unit; provides materials to staff and physicians; and provides direct patient care as listed on ER Tech skills checklist.

Minimum Education:
Must have successfully completed training as an Emergency Medical Technician or successfully completed the first year of an accredited nursing school program, or have CNA certification.*
Minimum Experience:
Functional knowledge of medical terminology, software and hardware related to data and ordering systems preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
Must be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR/Provider C) or be recertified during the orientation period.
