Covenant Grace Academy is Hiring a High School Teacher Near Charles, LA

Duties Include:

  • Plan, implement, and teach material of the Abeka curriculum
  • Create a Christ-centered environment that nurtures children's learning and growth
  • Develop lesson plans that promote spiritual, social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Implement behavior management strategies and promote positive behavior
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience may be supplemental in the absence of a degree.****
  • Experience in early childhood development of any kind.
  • Experience in daycare, childcare, or Sunday school programs.
  • Enjoys working with children and cultivates an attitude of patience and respect when implementing classroom management strategies.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline with Christlike behavior.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20,000.00 - $23,000.00 per year
