JobSummary

Asa Collections Specialist, you will be involved in donor screening, customerservice, and whole blood collection. Your responsibilities will include assessingand documenting the vitals of presenting donors to determine eligibility,performing blood collection (phlebotomy), and providing excellent customerservice and pre/post-donation care as needed. You'll work alongside othercollection specialists and attend regular staff meetings and trainings.

This position's protocol is documented and taught using inclusive andrecurring training sessions. While not required, specialized training beyondhigh school, such as phlebotomy, nursing assistant, medical assistant, or EMTwork, will make you an ideal candidate for this role.

We are seeking a CollectionsSpecialist who is organized, steady under pressure, and capable of beingflexible regarding varying shifts and work locations (i.e., working atfixed donor center locations and various community sites via mobile blooddrives, etc.)
