Cove Communities is Hiring a Hospitality Manager Near Savannah, GA

CreekFire RV Resort

As the Hospitality Manager, you’ll support the operational and continued profitability of the community. This includes everything from administrative activities, marketing, property maintenance, budgeting, HR management and most important, guest relations.

Reports to: Community Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Support in overseeing food and beverage, housekeeping, and front desk operations including hiring, training and development of staff.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning expansion of resort and amenities.
  • Assist with oversight of CreekFire Food and Beverage, which includes both the Pool Bar & The Lakehouse.
  • Assist with the oversight of the activities & entertainment.
  • Assist with all day-to-day operations, creating procedures to help resort operations to streamline and function sustainably.
  • Ensure guests and residents receive outstanding and memorable customer service consistent with Cove’s Values, Mission and Vision.
  • Promote the Cove lifestyle brand and continually increase customer service levels and add value for our guests.
  • Drive increased net operating income through growth in occupancy, increased profit in other revenue operations and cost management.
  • Assist and resolve guest and resident complaints, inquiries, and issues.
  • Oversee recruiting for key hires, including selection, onboarding, training, scheduling and development.
  • Ensure all team members support and follow Cove Communities policies and procedures.
  • Manage the enforcement of all property/ resort rules and regulations, including those required by Federal, State and/or local law.
  • Assist and review monthly operating performance, explain variances to budget and take action to mitigate negative variances.
  • Monitor, code and review invoices.
  • Maintain property and ensure it looks the best at all times.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business, a plus
  • Prior experience managing a team
  • Prior experience in hospitality management preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office applications; experience using reservation software preferred
  • Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours
