Description

The CDL B Hi Vac Driver will drive a truck with a liquid capacity of more than 5000 gallons to transport materials to and from specified destinations.

Secondary transport duties include operating semi-roll-off and van body equipment. CDL Drivers will have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds.

Responsibilities :

• Drive a truck and operate specialized pump equipment on the vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Prepare customer delivery tickets specific to the product delivered and obtain customer signatures.
• Complete accurate electronic Driver Logs daily.
• Document record of materials and products transported.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according to state and federal regulations.
• Communicate, verbally and electronically, with dispatch regarding delivery instructions.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
• Ensure elite standard of all operating equipment including but not limited to the inside cab, outside cab, outside tanks, hoses, trays, fittings, and all other ancillary parts.
• Complete additional assigned duties.

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Reworld offers GED Works a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
• Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
• Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License . Tanker endorsement preferred but not required.
• HAZMAT endorsement is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Has not received any disqualifications to drive a commercial motor vehicle according to the provisions of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations,
• Abide by standard DOT regulations at all times.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be responsible, well organized, and exhibit great safety awareness (identity and correct conditions that affect employee and client safety).
