We at the Courtyard by Marriott in Bradenton Riverfront believe heartfelt, customer service make people's lives better. Especially the people who work here. We are one of the top hotels in Bradenton, FL located on Manatee River.

We are accepting applications to join our team as a FRONT DESK AGENT, and we are hiring for both day shift (7am-3pm) and evening shift (3pm-11pm).

Our Front Desk Agent position provides our guests with a positive first and last impression as both greeters of new guests and well-wishes to departing ones. This is a great opportunity to be a part of an organization that believes our team members are our most important resource and therefore take great pride in selecting individuals that help us to achieve our mission.

Daily Activities of our Front Desk Agents include:

  • Welcome guests, register them, assist them in a welcoming and friendly way, and immediately solve any encountered challenges in a way that exceeds their expectations.
  • Inform the guest about the property and its amenities in detail.
  • Answer phones in a professional, yet friendly manner and assist guest needs as they arise.
  • Anticipate the needs of guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage busy times with grace under pressure and remain professional and courteous when interacting with guests.

Skills needed for a successful Front Desk Agent:

  • Experience as a Front Desk Agent preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Good listener who responds to guest with "It would be my pleasure to help" or "I will look into this for you right away."
  • Ability to stand for continuous periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays (nights may be included).
