Introduction:
**This position is part time during weekends**
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Bistro Attendant/Barista to join our team and provide excellent service to our guests. The position will be responsible for preparing and serving food and drinks, including classic breakfast items, Starbucks espresso and coffee drinks, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve drinks, including espresso drinks, coffee and tea
Prepare and serve foods including eggs, sandwiches, salads, and other classic breakfast items
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing glasses and utensils and restocking supplies
Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
Communicate effectively with other team members, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and management
Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a barista, cook, or in a similar role
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills
