Front Desk Agent
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accurate information and proper payment handling
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner
- Assist with reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and meeting guest preferences
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Experience:
- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices is a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is beneficial
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage
- Availability for night audit shifts may be required
