Summary:Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the ongoing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Clean guest rooms per hotel brand standard as assigned, including but not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, floors, windows, furniture and draperies, dusting, vacuuming, deep cleans, changing and replenishing bed linens, towels and all guest amenities

Stock, maintain, organize and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis

Dispose of all trash and recyclables in guest rooms, corridors, stairways and hallways

Provide guest assistance, directions, information, etc

Report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure outstanding guest service

Alert Maintenance of any problems or issues concerning the hotel Examples: TV, AC, smoke detectors, fridge, shower, sinks, plumbing, carpet stains, lights, etc

Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

Report any lost and found articles using proper protocol

Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc to Supervisor Maintain security of assigned keys

Responsible for careful and efficient use of supplies issued for performance of cleaning and maintenance duties

May perform special assignments and projects from Supervisor

Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner

Job Type: Full-time
