The summer camp coordinator is the primary staff working with the Courts Plus campers and the staff. The summer camp coordinator is responsible to do the job duties of a leader as well as organizing/creating activities and schedules for each day as well as assist the Youth Programs Supervisor with monitoring staff. All Day Camp runs from June thru mid-August. This position will also be closely involved in neutralizing child behavior situations. This position typically works 35-40 hours per week through the summer months, along with prep work needed each week. Hours are approximately 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday with a 1-hour lunch break. Strong public relations and leadership skills are strongly recommended.
Experience and Skills:
Interest in or career experience in education or similar field is preferred.
Individual must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work as a team or alone with a group of children.
Ability to perform a variety of tasks outside in various climates.
Enjoys being in the company of children.
First Aid, CPR, AED training must be completed before or within 3 months of hire.
