Courthouse Club Fitness is Hiring a Lifeguard Near Salem, OR

We are currently looking for talented lifeguards focused on creating a safe and positive experience for summer swimmers. Lifeguards monitor activities in the swimming pool area, ensuring the safety of all members and guests using our outdoor pool facilities. They effectively enforce club policies and inspect the facilities for cleanliness and safety. Lifeguard Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing activities at outdoor pool locations.
  • Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of patrons.
  • Monitoring designated areas to recognize signs of danger.
  • Warning swimmers regarding unsafe situations.
  • Maintaining order in swimming areas.
  • Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning.
  • Performing first aid procedures.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all areas.
Lifeguard Requirements:
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Swim Coach and/or Lifeguard background preferred.
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • Proficient in interacting with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.
  • Available to work nights and weekends.
  • Physically fit, strong, agile, and dexterous.
Lifeguard Training Upon Hire:
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
  • Completion of lifeguard training.
