Coursey Blvd Animal Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Technician/Assistant Near Baton Rouge, LA
- Part Time Position
- Schedule is 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday
- Rotating Saturdays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
- $14 per hour based on experience
- Experience working in a Veterinary Hospital is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Greeting clients as they are in and out of hospital
- Scheduling client appointments and checking patients in and out of the hospital
- Understanding patient needs and services to offer as well as assist the doctor with patients
- Working with animals and learning all medications names and uses
- Skills Needed: Punctuality, Reliability, Math Skills, Professional Communcation Skills, and Following Instruction.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
Healthcare setting:
- Clinic
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
Experience:
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
