County of Yolo is Hiring a Child Support Specialist I-II Near Woodland, CA

The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill two (2) regular, full-time positions in the class of Child Support Specialist I-II at the Colusa-Sutter-Yolo Regional Child Support Agency. Successful candidates will be placed on an eligible list that will be utilized to fill these vacancies as well as future positions as they become available. Offices are in Yolo, Colusa, and Sutter Counties. Employee may be assigned to Woodland, CA, Colusa, CA, or Yuba City, CA.The education, experience and other qualifications of the selected candidate will determine the level at which the position will be offered. The salary range for each classification level is as follows: Child Support Specialist I: $47,944 - $58,282 Annually Child Support Specialist II: $53,477 - $65,021 Annually The PositionUnder close supervision, applies procedures needed to collect current and delinquent child support payments and obtains court orders for support; performs child support fiscal and financial case preparation and management; other related duties as required. Child Support Specialist I: This is an entry level in the Child Support Specialist Series. Incumbents work under close supervision performing duties similar to the Child Support Specialist II and are expected to demonstrate the ability to promote to the next higher lever after successful completion of one (1) year of experience. Child Support Specialist II: This is the journey level in the Child Support Specialist series. Incumbents are assigned routine and difficult cases and are expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
