GENERAL DEFINITION:
This is advanced professional legal and supervisory work performing legal services for the County. Work involves supervising a group of subordinate professional employees in researching legal questions; preparing resolutions, briefs and legal documents; and rendering legal opinions. Duties will include, but are not limited to, pre-trial investigations, research, client interview, trial preparation work, document preparation, filing of pre and post-trial motions, trying of cases before juvenile masters, administrative bodies and/or in the Courts and appeal.
