Social Worker (CPS & APS positions available)

Description of Duties: Services are provided in a variety of settings including local human services agencies. Work may involve investigation of alleged neglect or abuse; providing in-depth assessment of family dynamics and needs, assessment, and intervention; serving as expert witness at court hearings; or advanced social work intervention.

Social Worker III Required Qualifications: Minimum of bachelor’s degree required: Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and completion of the Child Welfare Collaborative (Child Welfare positions only); Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and one year directly related experience; Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and two years directly related experience; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of directly related experience; Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work; Master's degree in a human services field and one year of directly related experience.

Hiring Salary Range: Depending upon qualifications (Grade 72: $49622- $54584) (FLSA Status – Non-Exempt)

Social Worker II Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution; bachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of directly related experience; bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hiring Salary Range: Depending upon qualifications (Grade 69 $42866- $47153) (FLSA Status – Non-Exempt)

Social Worker I Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution; Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hiring Salary Range: Depending upon qualification (Grade 66: $37029- $40732) (FLSA Status – Non-Exempt)

Emergency Shelter Operations: The individual in this position has responsibilities for staffing and providing assistance when public health or emergency shelter plans are implemented.
