The Burlington County Health Department is seeking to hire a Weights and Measure Apprentice. Under close supervision and direction of the Superintendent of Weights and Measures, in a three-year training program, performs productive work while receiving formal on the job training in the inspection and testing of weighing and measuring devices; performs other related duties as required and/or necessary.

Possession of a valid driver’s license in the State of New Jersey

Will be required to successfully complete the Weights and Measures training program conducted by the State Office of Weights and Measures, Department of Law and Public Safety, during the apprenticeship program.

The position will be 40 hours Monday-Friday.

The position has a starting salary of $39,446.00.
