**Job Description**

New hires in office-based roles in the US & Puerto Rico will be required, subject to applicable law,to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption to this vaccination requirement that can be accommodated without an undue burden to the operation. However, subject to applicable law, employees working in roles that the Company determines require routine collaboration with external stakeholders, such as employees in customer facing commercial or research based roles, will be required to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment.

Our Sales team support our customers by providing clinical information about products, educational information, clinical training programs and resources.We support healthcare providers and healthcare systems meet the goals of the patients in their communities.

TheVaccineCustomer Representative(VCR)supports customers by providing clinical information on our Company's vaccines, as well as education and resources. They do thisto support customer operational and financial needs such as reimbursement information and contract adherencein an effort tohelp the provider or system increase their immunization rates among appropriate patients and help protect them from vaccine preventable diseases.

TheVaccineCustomer Representative(VCR) isthe primary point of contact fora variety of customers within theirassigned geography.These customers mayinclude health care providers such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists as well as quality directors, immunization managers, and office managers.Within their geography there are a diverse set of health care locations that they will call upon in order to execute their role including clinics, health departments,integrated deliverysystems,andhospitals.

The VCR isa key member of thelocalCustomer Teamthatworks collaboratively with other companyfield basedemployees such as the Vaccine Key Customer Leader (VKCL), Vaccine Medical Affairs Leader (VMAL), Region Medical Director (RMD) as well as other members of the extended team.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Engaging in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providersand Health Care Business Professionalsto align customer needs and our company's vaccineattributesinaccordance with product labeling,and CDCand professional societyrecommendations.

* ProvidingVaccineManagement withupdateson customer needsas it relates to helping them improve patient health outcomes, customer feedback, marketplace dynamics,and progress towardsquality goals.

* Providingcustomers with key insights by keeping apprised of professionaland health care environmentknowledge through self-study of company-provided scientific,productand marketplaceinformation, attendance at product workshops and conferences, as well as consistent and ongoing review of our company's promotional materials.

* Utilizinganalytical skills and toolstoengage customers in quarterly business reviews regarding their vaccine contract in order to educate customers on the best ways to maximize their contract performance across our company's portfolio.

* Assistingcustomers with educationto improvetheir organization's immunization rates through adherence toquality basedprograms using appropriate tools such as Vaccine IQ.

* Regularly monitoringtheir business performance against objectives using company provided tools.

* Developinga territory level business plan that focuses on improving immunization rates with assigned customers in accordance with our company's policies, standards and ethics.

* Maintainingproduct knowledge and certification on the entire vaccine portfolio along with knowledge of the CDC immunization schedule for both pediatric and adult vaccines.

* Within select customer accounts, actsas primary point of contact forthecustomer, meet with key customers/ personnel tomaintain understanding oftheircurrentpractice structure, business model,andkey influencers(Managed Care Organization/payers, employers, statepolicy),and their patients'needs. Identifiesbusiness opportunitiesand makesinformation available to relevant stakeholdersto support theidentifiedimmunization needs.

* For select customer accounts, coordinate withour company'scustomer team(Account Executives, Integrated Delivery System team, Solutions support teams,etc.)tooutlinecustomer strategy for interactions/ relationshipsaimed at improving immunization rates.

**Education:**

* Required: BA/BSwith 0-3 years sales experience OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience which could include: professional sales, experience in marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific field (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices).

* Preferred:MBA/MS

**Required Experience and Skills:**

* Demonstrated aptitude to excel in current or previous educational or professional roles

* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Valid Driver's license

* Able and willing to travel the assigned territory.

**Preferred Experience and Skills:**

* Ability to convey technical concepts accurately and clearly

* Prior experience working in a technical/scientific field or healthcare environment

* Previous sales, account management, consultative, or customer service experience

* Experience developingand executing a plan for engaging customers and meeting customer needs

* Understanding of Marketing/Sales &/or Marketing/Sales Support Functions/Operations

* Ability to analyze metrics to assess progress against objectives

* Vaccine's experience
