Countryside Daycare & Preschool is seeking a Pre-K Lead Teacher for our pre-kindergarten early learning program.

Qualifications : At least an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the human services field.

Experience : Two years of experience teaching children in an early learning setting.

Job Specific Performance Expectations :

  • Instruct assigned class with the ability to observe & assess children and plan and implement lesson plans
  • Perform assessments and write reports
  • Conduct a periodic review of educational goals and adapt plans as needed.
  • Responsible to work in conjunction with the Director of Programs regarding daily issues and concerns.
  • Responsible to perform duties professionally in response to a variety of students, co-workers, and situations.

Other Requirements :

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting strong customer service and the ability to interact effectively with parents / guardians
  • Ability to maintain high-level standards of confidentiality concerning center, staff, and family matters
