Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care for our furry friends. Your responsibilities will include assisting with animal handling, providing basic grooming, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and comfort of our kennel facility.

Duties:
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor animal behavior and report any changes or concerns to the veterinary team
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations or procedures
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners

Experience:
- Previous experience in pet grooming, animal handling, or veterinary settings is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior
- Familiarity with pet sitting or pet care practices
- Veterinary technician experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills

Skills:
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Knowledge of proper animal restraint techniques
- Basic understanding of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment

This is a part-time position. We have both a morning and evening kennel position available. You are required to work split shifts every other Saturday and Sunday.
