Job Description: Store Team Leader
Job Type: Full Time- includes benefits. Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays
Job Summary: Store team leaders are multi-faceted. The store team leader is a leadership role so an ability to manage and delegate to the other store team members is a must. The store team leaders are able to operate and utilize Point of Sale terminals to assist and help customers, along with handling financial transactions. Store team leaders are able to also work in the warehouse, nursery and the pet department. Being able to adapt and assist in multiple departments is a huge requirement of this position. Another primary function of the Store team leader is to follow the set guidelines and protocol to open and close the store.

Position Outline: The store team leader is a crucial role in the store operations. The store team leader works with the store management team to delegate and provide guidance to the other store team members. Along with the ability to help and work in multiple departments, the store team leader is tasked with following the proper procedures to open and close the store. This includes reviewing and securing financial transactions and end of day totals.
Position Requirements:
The store team leader will work in a leadership capacity to manage the store team members, while assisting various store departments as necessary. Following the proper procedures to open and close the store is also necessary.
