We have grown and developed into four business divisions: agronomy, retail, energy, and wholesale distribution & milling. Country Stores provide quality goods and services for all “Farm-Pet-Home” needs! We operate 10 Country Stores in Washington and Montana. It is essential for all staff to provide friendly, quality service to customers. Our stores offer a friendly work-life balance!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and interact with customers
• Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise
• Assist customer orders by loading and unloading products as needed
• Maintain product stock in the store and warehouse
• Assemble products and displays
• Deliver products to customer delivery points
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (delivery truck, forklift, etc.) and facilities
• Dispense propane and kerosene
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Exhibit an ability to get along with others
• Practice punctual and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment
• Commitment to high standards especially in terms of providing outstanding customer service
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stoop and kneel frequently
• Lift, carry, push, pull and load 60 pounds (minimum) weight requirements
• Proven track record of being dependable and reliable
• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in a retail or warehouse setting
• Product knowledge in one or more of the following areas: feed, seed, pet food & supplies, hardware, fencing, animal health, tack, clothing & footwear, lawn & garden or wild bird supplies
• Experience dispensing propane cylinders
• Experience safely operating pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position (schedule may vary). 40 hours per week. Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$16.80 - $19.80/hour.
