We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer - Finance with a strong background in data/financial analysis and accounting to lead the development of advanced reporting and visualization tools within our IT department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards focusing on financial metrics, operational efficiencies, and key performance indicators relevant to the manufacturing sector.
• Utilize Power BI to gather, transform, and visualize data from various sources such as Excel, APIs, and SQL, creating interactive dashboards that present key insights to stakeholders.
• Apply data cleansing and transformation techniques using Power Query to ensure data accuracy and consistency across different data sources. Work closely with data warehouse engineers to enhance data quality and resolve data integration issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to understand data requirements, design meaningful visualizations, and drive informed decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and support the adoption of Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, within the organization.
• Train end-users on effectively utilizing Power BI tools to meet their specific needs, fostering a data-driven culture within Country Pure Foods.
• Analyze financial data, develop financial models, and provide key insights to stakeholders, contributing to the development of budgets, forecasts, and improvement opportunities to accelerate close and reporting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Power BI Developer, with a strong emphasis on financial analysis and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis, visualization, and report creation, with a solid understanding of data transformation, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices for maintaining data accuracy and security.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective reporting and insights.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment and a proven track record of delivering results on time.
