Country Lane Gardens Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is Hiring a Floor Technician Near Thornville, OH
Country Lane Gardens is seeking to hire a Full Time Floor Technician.
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the residents, families, visitors and staff of Country Lane by performing all tasks using established policies and procedures and the effective use of tested cleaning chemicals and equipment. Perform all phases of floor and carpet care programs. Complete misc. housekeeping duties as needed and trash removal.
Must be available to work weekends as needed.
EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to read warning labels on hazardous chemical containers and MSDS sheets.
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
- Must have previous experience stripping and waxing of hard surfaces.
- Must have previous experience in cleaning and extracting of carpeted areas.
- Basic computer skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to push equipment on wheels weighing a maximum of 250 lbs.
- Good communications skills.
- Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work as a team or alone.
- Must be able to interface with people of all levels in a positive and professional manner.
