Country K9 is Hiring a Kennel Technician Near Stephenson, VA
Responsibilities include all aspects of animal care and facility upkeep, including:
- Escorting animals to and from their accommodations during check-in and check-out times
- Housekeeping (cleaning and sanitizing animal areas, washing food bowls and water buckets, keeping the play yards clean, doing laundry, etc.)
- Room service (preparing and feeding meals, administering medications, providing clean water)
- Guest enhancement (exercise walks, play and cuddle sessions, activities)
- Cleaning and Maintenance (sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, cleaning the employee break room, cleaning the training room, cleaning offices, vacuuming, checking equipment and supplies, taking out trash, etc.)
- Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to work weekends (rotating) and holidays
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Possess problem solving skills
- Ability to follow directions
