COUNTRY INN & SUITES is Hiring a Front Desk Agent Near Birch Run, MI

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor - Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently and accurately - Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions - Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly - Assist with reservations, cancellations, and room assignments - Maintain accurate guest records and handle cash transactions - Answer phone calls professionally and redirect as necessary - Ensure the lobby area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times - Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction Requirements: - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment - Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays - High school diploma or equivalent At our hotel, we value our employees' contributions and offer a supportive work environment.
