Director, Programs & Satellite Sites

Salary: $50.56 – 71.18, per hour, Exempt/Salary, payable bi-weekly.

The salary scale for this position is between steps 0 and 19, depending on experience. This is an exempt, 40 hours per week. Applicants must pass an extensive background check.

About UsCountry Doctor Community Health Centers (CDCHC) is a not-for-profit organization that operates two primary care clinics, an After-Hours Clinic, two School-Based Health Centers, a low barrier Medication-assisted treatment clinic, and a Dental Clinic. Our Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center was founded in 1970 by the Seattle Black Panther Party in Seattle’s Central District. Our Country Doctor Community Clinic was established in 1971 by residents of the Capital Hill neighborhood in conjunction with the Seattle Liberation Front. The primary goal of each clinic was to provide low-barrier, high-quality healthcare services and promote social justice.

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Director of Programs and Satellite Sites will oversee both new and established programs to facilitate improved measurement of services/outcomes, operational improvements, and enhanced integration into the primary care services at the heart of our mission. The role will provide structure and support to ensure consistency and sustainability in data collection, operations, and finances. 

RESPONSIBILIITES:

  • Develop and maintain best practice operating procedures to support equitable, high-quality services across all programs.
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency, quality and internal controls across all programs and services.
  • Develop and maintain metrics, ensuring all required data are regularly monitored and communicated to appropriate partners.
  • Routinely review standardized reporting (i.e., patient volumes, access, and outcomes) to measure productivity, performance, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Actively participate in discussions regarding new programs, sustainability of existing programs and grant funding opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue optimization across all programs and services.
  • Participate in short- and long-term program and budget planning
  • Maintain the schedule for grants related to programs and act as a liaison between the Grants Manager and Program Leads to ensure deadlines are met and funding is secured
  • Serves as point of escalation for satellite site operations
  • Lead and manage quality improvement projects

Direct Supervision of program leads and support staff including but not limited to:

  • ReEntry Program
  • Gender Health Program
  • Healthcare for Homeless Services
  • Sexual Health Program
  • School-based Health
  • Addiction Medicine Program
  • STEP Clinic
  • Recovery Café
  • Community Health Worker team

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • Progressive, successful experience as a health care leader with demonstrated expertise in program development and evaluation and ambulatory clinic operations. Management and supervisory experience required.
  • Team development and facilitation techniques applied to quality improvement or project teams to achieve their highest potential
  • Working knowledge of Epic preferred

Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google products and working on PCs
  • Ability to interact and work well with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Proven availably to work as an effective member of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, to be flexible, and to prioritize and handle multiple, often competing tasks
  • Capacity to be resourceful and to approach problem solving in a creative manner

Supervision: This position is supervised by the Executive Director
