The Country Club of Paducah is accepting applications for seasonal lifeguards. This position will go through September 29th.

Must be available to work holidays and weekends.

Description
Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers

• Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid
• Maintains order in swimming areas. Inspects facilities for cleanliness
• May determine chlorine content and pH value of water, using water testing kit
• May give swimming instructions
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Lifeguard certification preferred
• Certification in basic life support, first aid, CPR and AED preferred
• If not already certified, must achieve above certifications within the first 60 days of employment.
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
