We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. We have two facilities within 2 miles of each other: a fabrication shop/office facility and a warehouse/showroom facility. The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible performing routine maintenance on machinery and equipment in the fabrication shop (CNC, waterjet, filter press, etc.) as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing issues. They will also be responsible for for basic upkeep and maintenance of the office/showroom facilities and grounds, including responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Fabricate and weld metal components as necessary
- Perform basic upkeep of offices, working spaces, and grounds
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections
- Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
