Boutique law firm looking to hire an associate experienced in many areas of civil law. The ideal candidate will be someone who is capable of managing their caseload and the office without constant oversight or supervision. This is a hybrid position that will allow for work from home flexibility.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trials, making court appearances, drafting pleadings, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, settling cases, preparing and responding to discovery, preparing memorandums, and conducting legal research.
• Extensive legal research and writing.
• The attorney should be able to resolve complex civil law issues with minimal supervision as well as perform an independent analysis of legal issues.
• The attorney will be expected to independently monitor case schedules, filing deadlines, and supervise any assigned paralegals and office staff.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years practicing law.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently, respond appropriately to urgency, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
• Must be well organized.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
