Overview:
Counselman Automotive Recycling, LLC, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Site Manager to oversee all aspects of the store and yard operations. This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, including inventory management, team building and supervision, customer relations and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day activities of the recycling site, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and financial transactions.
• Implement systems for organizing and tracking incoming and/or outgoing parts.
• Enforce quality standards for salvaged parts to ensure they meet customer expectations and industry requirements.
• Hire and manage a team of workers involved in dismantling, sorting, and processing vehicles and parts. Delegate tasks and provide guidance as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with customers, salvage yards and automotive repair shops to help facilitate the sale and maintain or build client base.
• Ensure all machinery, tools, and equipment used in the recycling process are serviced as needed for continued operating use.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries. Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees.
• Monitor expenses, revenue, and profitability to optimize business performance.
• Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects

Requirements:

• A background in the automotive industry (preferred)
• Proven experience in management
• Excellent and effective leadership abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Must have a clean MVR
• Valid Drivers License
• Be able to pass DOT physical to obtain DOT medical card.
