We have a weekday Monday-Friday opening at our CARE Clinic. The role of Clinic Office Managerrequires a bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred. Minimum of five (5) years supervisory/administrative experience and bilingual in Spanish and English preferred. Demonstrated commitment to providing services to medically underserved persons. Preferred experience in supporting clinical, administrative, and support staff to develop professionalism and coordination within a team. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and writing.
The starting annual salary for the Clinic Office Manager ranges between $70,000- 75,000 depending on experience.

General Expectations:

  • Under the direction of the Med Clinic Program Director, the CARE Clinic Office Manager will be in charge of all aspects of services provided by the CARE Clinic. Utilizing principles and practices of the Sanctuary Model, the CARE Clinic Office Manager monitors clinic performance to ensure services and operations comply with all applicable regulatory and licensing agencies. Serving as a resource to the team, the Office Manager provides guidance in best practices and troubleshoots service and operational issues based on urgency and agency policy. Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills, the Office Manager produces reports, assigns tasks, and accepts instructions. Moreover, they exhibit leadership abilities to manage challenges and oversee employees, emphasizing attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.


Example of Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day coordination of clinic client care, greeting and rooming clients, control of client flow, notify appropriate person of client arrival, monitor, and maintain waiting areas to ensure clean and comfortable and welcoming environment.
  • Will serve as supervisor and ensure all standards and practices are upheld within the credentialing standards.
  • Assist in recruitment of qualified clinical staff including interviewing and recommendation for hire. Monitor and assist with new hire orientation process and conduct performance evaluations on all direct reports.
  • Act as provider liaison for staff, clients, drug representatives, and others' seeking to meet with prescribers.
  • Responsible for establishing/reinforcing system of accountability for medical staff to include productivity benchmarks, performance measures and controls for clinical quality assurance, including resolving client complaints.


Other Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by the Med Clinic Program Director.


Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move from location to location, bending, stooping, lifting 25 pounds, communicate clearly, prepare written communications, present information to other employees, process complex information within established procedures/programs, enter data to various programs. Must be able to climb stairs and access non-handicapped equipped residences/facilities.
