AI and STEM Coordinator

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
The AI/STEM Coordinator will spearhead the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into our district's educational framework, emphasizing responsible and innovative AI applications in education. This role will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our Diploma Plus One pathways in the AI/STEM fields and supporting the implementation of our new middle school College and Career Exploratory Labs.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Required: Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Preferred: Teaching experience in STEM subjects at the secondary level
• Demonstrated knowledge of current trends and best practices in STEM education and AI integration
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Experience with project management and program coordination
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education
• Curriculum design and development experience

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Preferred: Teaching License
