Job Summary

This position is responsible for creating and overseeing the implementation of promotional plans and pre and post-sales communications and other materials for marketing and sales. Managing high level departmental or division projects and representing the manager and/or the department on committees and special task forces. Reviewing work of other department writers on projects and developing, budget for communications under their purview; and working with other staff on budget projections.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Creates, manages and completes product marketing communication plans. Works with a variety of business partners across the Enterprise to accomplish this including Product Solutions, Creative Services, Customer Experience Team, Legal, Print Services and more.

2. Reviews the work of other department writers and works with them to ensure end product meets established goals.

3. Manages the development, review, and production process of marketing/sales product communications for a variety of audiences including members, producers, and employers.

4. Evaluates end result of marketing campaigns and is responsible for recommending any changes.

5. Works autonomously and oversees all project aspects, including managing relationships (internal and external, such as outside consultants), scheduling production and proposing and monitoring project budget.

6. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.

7. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.

8. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.

9. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor Degree or 4 years marketing, journalism or communications experience.

* 7 years experience in communications environment.

* Knowledge of design, layout, and print production.

* Project management skills.

* Writing and verbal communications and editing skills.

* Independent, self-starter, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor Degree in Journalism or Communications.
