Cotton, A Sikich Company has an immediate need for a Senior Audit Manager to join its Contracts & Grants team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, organization, and supervision of a number of client engagements, including overseeing and performing tasks in conducting audit and/or consulting engagements for government agencies and contractors. You should meet the following qualifications and Requirements: Qualifications: * Demonstrated knowledge of Yellow Book requirements. * Proficiency in evaluating grantee compliance with 2 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) § 200, the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. * Experience supervising projects, teams, and budgets. * Ability to supervise, delegate, motivate, and provide feedback to the team. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to speak effectively before groups and/or present information to clients, peers, and management. * Keen attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently, as well as manage a team. * Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. * Maintain excellent client relations for the firm. * Meet expectations for attendance, punctuality, and company/client deadlines and abide by all company policies. * Ability to monitor the budget to ensure the work is completed on-time and within budget. * Participate in the bid-and-proposal process * Perform other duties as assigned * Believe in quality work and have a strong work ethic. * Are able to speak effectively before groups including clients, peers and management. * Are able to write reports, emails, and other business correspondence in a clear and concise manner. * Are able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished written or orally. * Are detail-oriented, well organized and able to work effectively both independently and with a team. * Are able to multi-task across multiple projects. Requirements: * Bachelors in Accounting or a related field with at least 24 credit hours in accounting. * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidacy is preferred. * Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. * Are proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). * Some travel required * Have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interview individuals associated with the audit. * Are a self-starter and independent but also a great team player who enjoys contributing to a company that emphasizes integrity and quality. * Ability to obtain a U.S. federal security clearance (U.S. citizenship required) Covid-19 Vaccination Mandate: As a federal covered contractor, this position may require the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 if work is performed for a client where full vaccination is a contractual requirement.
