Job DescriptionCottman Transmission is looking for a transmission installer or automotive technician we can train to install transmissions. If you are an experienced auto technician let us do the rest. We offer job advancement opportunities within our company, come work for us. We are a small company with core family values.This position requires you to have a mechanical background and preferably transmission removal and installation experience. This person would need to know how to remove front wheel drive, rear wheel drive, front differentials, rear differentials and transfer cases. There is also training available for this person to move into other positions within the company. This position is a M-F 8-5 only NO WEEKENDS. There are paid holidays and 2 weeks of paid vacation. Very competitive pay.

- Test functionality of parts
- Perform Transmission, Differential and Transfer Case Services
- Remove and Install Clutches
- Remove and Install Front Wheel and Rear Wheel Drive Transmissions
- Remove and Install Front Differential, Rear Differentials, and Transfer Cases
- Perform other nonspecific drive train repairs.
- Document service repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Automotive Mechanical skills
- Customer service skills
