COTSWORKS seeks an Engineering Projects Analyst to support our unique and growing Mil/Aero market for in-house designed and manufactured optoelectronic products and solutions.

The Engineering Projects Analyst is primarily responsible for organizing and managing projects and processes within the engineering department and communicating department information throughout the company, including project schedules, budget management, inventory management, process development, report creation, management of staff requests, and assistance in staff development. This regular full-time, salaried position reports to the Director of Engineering and works onsite at our Cleveland-area office. Due to classified work at our facility and related access restrictions, successful applicants must maintain U.S. citizenship (No Green card or Visa) for consideration for a position at COTSWORKS, INC.

COTSWORKS, INC. designs and manufactures rugged optical components and subsystems to operate in harsh environments. Products are utilized worldwide in commercial and military aerospace, tactical, oil and gas, and other industrial markets. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility produces over 100,000 mission-critical rugged optoelectronic and interconnect products yearly. The company maintains a quality program with ISO 9100:2015 AS9100D Certification and ATEX Compliance.

Your tasks may include the following:

· Drives engineering projects to completion by executing priorities, meeting deadlines, and keeping budgets updated and accurate.

· Develops and maintains detailed projects and resource-loaded schedules while balancing and allocating resources for projects based on skills and availability of team members.

· Tracks and reports department and project metrics and identifies areas of improvement.

· Creates documentation and reports for department audits with support from the Quality Team.

· Assists the Director by contributing support to team members’ individual development goals.

· Keeps a current matrix of skill levels and training needs for team members.

· Improves existing processes, with input from other departments, which communicate essential project-related information.

· Gathers approvals and documents the traceability and accuracy of project status on documentation and in information systems.

· Keeps an organized inventory management system for engineering-related projects (e.g., materials, lead time, and stock levels).

Qualification requirements include:

·A bachelor’s in business administration, engineering, or other relevant major is required; project management certification is a plus.

· Two (2) years of experience managing projects and processes.

· Strong proficiency in writing, verbally communicating and presenting to various audiences.

· Proficient in using standard office productivity tools and equipment (i.e., basic keyboarding skills, Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel).

· Demonstrates through past work experience proficient analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

· Demonstrates through past work experience strong organizational, time management, and project management skills with the ability to manage effectively competing priorities in a multi-task, fast-paced environment.

· Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in workstyle to better respond to multiple requests/tasks and handle sudden changes in priorities.

· Demonstrates from past work experience the ability to bring creativity and innovation to the work process.

· Ability to build relationships and work across diverse groups and functional areas in a collaborative manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
