What does a "normal" day look like in our Maintenance Technician position? Is there such a thing as "normal" in Property Management? 

Description

Maintenance:

1) Perform maintenance duties, including electrical, plumbing, dry wall, appliance repairs, improvements, and other maintenance duties.

2) Collaborate with the Site Manager to create a positive customer experience while staying within budget

Resident Relations:

1) Represent the community in a professional manner at all times, on/off property

2) Deliver communication documentation to residents as assigned

3) Ensure apartments are ready for new move-ins 

Safety:

1) Ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner

2) Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules

3) Immediately report all unsafe conditions

Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of apartment and townhome communities. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician must ensure the proper operation of all appliances, heating and cooling units, ceiling fans, and light fixtures. The Maintenance Technician should be equipped with some of their own tools.

• Must be punctual and reliable. 

Requirements

•  Must have Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
•  Willingness to use their personal vehicle for work purposes.
•  Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. 
• Ability to work 40.0 hours per week.
• Provide on-call coverage when scheduled staff are absent.
