Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient service and possess knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Experience in pediatrics and patient assessment is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing assessments and evaluations
- Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids based on individual needs
- Provide counseling on hearing aid usage and maintenance
- Perform hearing aid repairs and adjustments
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in hearing aid technology
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Hearing Aid Dispenser is preferred
- Knowledge of medical coding for billing purposes
- Understanding of occupational health standards related to hearing care
- Familiarity with pediatric audiology is a plus
